Not sure what is happening in that last gif, but Gaston seems mildly concerned.

I think the last gif is amazing because this is our chance to see him actually care about someone else besides himself (or Belle). Notice how he looks down when he says “WOAH! Careful”. It’s like he’s hoping no one is watching him worry about another one’s safety. GASTON YOU’RE A SWEETHEART.

AND I DIDN’T THINK I COULD BE MORE IN LOVE WITH HIM.

[[This is why I personally believe Belle and Gaston could have been in a relationship - if he would’ve toned down his self-love. And Belle did in fact judge him harshly (rude and inconsiderate, she said it behind his back). She didn’t give him a chance to shed those layers of pride and all, but she could have, like with Beast/Prince Adam. ANYWHO, Gaston would be great with kids IMHO. It was all apart of his plan in accordance with marrying Belle (“Pumpkin! Extend with me.” from “Me”). I could see Belle and Gaston DEFINITELY butting heads a lot in the beginning of a relationship, but I could see them getting along after many spats and alsdkfjasldkf. And Belle shouldn’t have been kept to her books so much. She wanted adventure, right!? Well! Go out on a hunt with Gaston (heck, I would!) for starters!

….yeesh. Where am I now? XD Sorry if that’s all jumbled but I had to say something. And yes: I ship Belle and Gaston very much. They could work out if Belle wouldn’t be so prejudiced and Gaston wouldn’t be so full of pride. OMG Pride and Prejudice XD]]

^^^THIS^^^. Gaston does NOT love Belle. He simply wants her because he thinks she is the most beautiful girl in town. He believes that makes her the best. She is nothing more than a trophy to him, just like the animal heads mounted on his wall. Just because he is good looking doesn’t make him a good guy. This story is all about judging people based on their appearance.
